    1. Hi Rosemary

I am sorry to hear this. We have not been informed of a clinic cancellation.
Did your son approach the NHS clinic? The fire service does not run the actual clinic rather they are used as a base.

  1. Just spent an hour driving around Tamworth Staffordshire with Google maps trying to find the Booster Vaccination Centre. One way street, cars not allowed and in the end we cancelled our appointments for tomorrow and cannot believe that it is more user friendly and accessible.

    1. Hi Janice

I am sorry to hear the trouble you had finding the vaccination centre in Tamworth.
There is a car park available in the shopping centre itself. The vaccination clinic was situated inside the shopping centre too.
I hope you have managed to organise a further appointment for your family?
If there is anything else we can do to help then please contact us.
      Kind Regards

        1. Hi Ed

The vaccination centre is at 13-14 Ankerside Shopping Centre (inside the Ankerside Shopping Centre) Tamworth,B79 7LG
          Regards

  2. I am booked in for booster on 11th November at ankerside. I have concerns about social distancing whilst waiting outside. I walked by on Monday 8th and there didn’t appear to be any social distancing ie 2 long queues one for drop in and one for appointments in an enclosed area. Could you please advise re measures in place.

    1. Hi Pauline
The vaccination clinics are run by the NHS. Details of social distancing measures can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/what-happens-at-your-appointment/
Perhaps a quieter walk-in centre would be a better option for you? I have included a list of all the available clinics for you: https://healthwatchstaffordshire.co.uk/news/latest-walk-in-covid-vaccination-clinics/?preview_id=11686&preview_nonce=c7627729e0&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true

  3. I would like to have my 1st. Ovid 19 injection within Tamworth Ankerside before 17th December
Please help me to get this done

    1. Hi Rachel
Ankerside no longer operates covid vaccination clinics.
You can call 119 to book at a different venue or book online (very busy at present)

Where is the nearest walk in centre for a second vaccine for a 17 yr old please? He has received s letter to go for it but Tamworth Ankerside no longer available. We live in Tamworth. Thanks

  5. Went to Tamworth Baptist Church yesterday as it advertised on the site it was open 2-5 on Sunday. Turned up to find it closed.

  6. Louisa Cowlishaw

Hello we are desperately trying to find a walk in centre where my Dad can get the Moderna booster jab, he’s allergic to Pfizer. So far we have been on a wild goose chase and the doctors haven’t helped.
Desperate to get it done and would appreciate any help.

  7. It sounds to me that the delivery of the Covid inoculation centres is chaotic, badly organized and in some places none existent, come on NHS get your act together!!
