World Suicide Prevention Day – Sat 10th September

This Saturday, 10th September, is World Suicide Prevention Day.  

Healthwatch Staffordshire are highlighting local mental health services (including crisis services).

The Staffordshire County Council website lists local sources of help. 

Please Note: the helpline to use in a crisis depends on where you live.

The National Suicide Prevention Alliance say:  

“Suicide prevention is everyone’s business. The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) is an alliance of public, private and voluntary organisations in England who care about suicide prevention and are willing to take individual and collective action to reduce suicide and self-harm, and support those bereaved or affected by suicide.”
